Curtis Donskey, M.D., is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is also a staff physician and Chairman of the Infection Control Committee at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Dr. Donskey received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed his internal medicine residency and chief residency at Brown University in Providence, RI. He completed an Infectious Diseases fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1999. He has received a Research Career Development Award and Merit Review Award from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Donskey’s research interests include infection control of Clostridium difficile and other healthcare-associated pathogens and the role of antibiotics in promotion of intestinal colonization. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and has received awards for medical student teaching and housestaff research mentorship.
