Objectives: - At the completion of the presentation, participants should be able to evaluate and critique infection prevention measures that were implemented for an outbreak of Pandemic H1N1 and determine whether these measures are appropriate for their facility. - At the completion of the presentation, participants should be able to recognize the limited diagnostic reliability of rapid assay testing for Pandemic H1N1 and consider its implications for treatment and prophylaxis in an outbreak setting. - At the completion of the presentation, participants should be able to collect information regarding off label use of Oseltamivir (Tamiflu) in pediatric patients during an outbreak. - Evaluate infection prevention measures implemented for an outbreak of pandemic H1N - Examine information regarding off-label use of Oseltamivir (Tamiflu) in pediatric patients during an outbreak.
