Description
Does your organization have a technology philosophy? With the help of a quick attendee survey on current technical environments, determine which technologies have worked, the ongoing benefits, and which technologies have failed and why. Determine the hidden costs of NOT changing with technology. Walk away with helpful tools you can implement immediately, including cost analyses of several technologies and an outline of an efficient technical cost structure.

Learning Objectives & Key Takeaways:
Changes in technology are happening at a faster pace than ever before. We will discuss the importance of preparing employees to embrace change by explaining how the changes benefit them and their organization. We will also talk about how using a small pilot group can be an effective way to both test technology and sell the change to the rest of the employee population.,Discuss specific, simple technology tools that can create daily efficiencies across departments. Related takeaways will include printed write-ups (and/or online pdf s) of our research and decision process in implementing (and sometimes not implementing) specific technical tools. A copy of the anonymous group survey will also be posted online.,By nature, requests for new technology are endless. Most requests have merit. However, implementing many of them can create a complex and very expensive technical environment. We will discuss the importance of simplifying your technical environment. Attendees will learn how to simplify their environment while increasing/improving the tools they bring to their organization. Does your organization have a technology philosophy?
