Description
If we are all supposed to be on the same team, why are there so often tensions between the national government relations efforts and state or regional efforts? How can non-profits work through these tensions to foster the cooperation and collaboration so integral to government relations success? This case study, with national and regional staff from the American Cancer Society (ACS) will outline how ACS has worked to overcome national and regional differences—and continues to struggle on a unified effort regarding lobby efforts, PAC fundraising, communications, and grassroots.
