Description
Traditionally, chapters have been the core component model for members’ engagement. With technological advances, time at a premium and younger members with new demands, some associations are taking innovative steps using components to fuel member engagement. The Michigan Association of CPAs eliminated their chapters and now uses several forms of components to meet the needs of a diverse membership. The Society of Manufacturing Engineers designed communities of practice in addition to their geographic chapters. Learn from these association experiences -- as well as from the effective practices of others.
