Joint appointments in Medical Physics and in Biostatistics and Medical Informatics. Varian Visiting Professor to the RTOG. Adjunct Professor in Radiation Biology and Medical Physics at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

I am currently Professor and Director of the Division of Bioinformatics and Outcomes Research. I have collaborated or directed many studies of radiotherapy dose-volume effects, and their application in treatment planning. I am a member of the QUANTEC (quantitative assessment of normal tissue effects in the clinic) steering committee; QUANTEC and the IJROBP will be publishing a full journal update to dose-volume tolerance reviews this year. I Chair of the Bioinformatics Committee of the RTOG and past Chair of the Biological Effects Committee of the AAPM. I have an ongoing interest in bringing imaging, dosimetric, and biological/biomarker data together into models that predict toxicity risk.
