"Nigel Barnes leads the Telecare research group within British Telecommunications’ research department at Adastral Park near Ipswich, UK. He has been involved in and led a number of Telecare and eHealth research projects and trials within the UK over the last twelve years; focused mainly on the application of non-invasive, pervasive monitoring and data analysis techniques.
He has a BEng (hons) degree in Communication Engineering from the University of Kent at Canterbury, a Masters degree in Telecommunications from the University of London, and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) through the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
