Professor Deborah Theodoros is Head of the Division of Speech Pathology in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. She is co-director of the Telerehabilitation Research Unit and Chair of the Telerehabilitation Special Interest Group of the American Telemedicine Association. Her research involves the assessment and treatment of motor speech disorders and the development and validation of telerehabilitation applications in speech pathology. She has over 100 publications including articles, book chapters and textbooks and has been involved in more than 100 national and international conference presentations.
Dr Trevor Russell is a senior lecturer in the Division of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland where he co-directs the Telerehabilitation Research Unit. He has a PhD in Telerehabilitation and his research centres around the development of innovative technology solutions, and the evaluation of the diagnostic accuracy and clinical efficacy of these technologies for clinical service delivery in the allied health disciplines. Trevor has led the development of an innovative telerehabilitation system (eHAB™) which has been successfully commercialized and is now being used in routine clinical service delivery in Queensland.
