Elizabeth Cowboy, MD is Triple Board Certified critical care physicians with 7 years of TeleICU experience. Completed a Masters of Organizational Development with focus on integration of ICU across multiple hospitals and hundreds of miles. Currently, joining efforts of other TeleICU to improve the outcome of patients and compliance with various federal and State regulations. Dr Cowboy trained under Dr Roger Bone at the Medical College of Ohio and completed Fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care at University of Kansas Medical Center.

Mhd G. Jamil M.D., FCCP is Quadruple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, CCM, and sleep. He is the first medicine Director Tele-ICU for King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He brings his expertise as a TeleICU physician from INOVA in Northern Virginia, USA to the Middle East. In addition to his numerous awards he has started the first critical Care multinational collaborative in the Middle East. This has lead to the first ever home ventilator patients in the middle east. He has flown numerous international missions on behalf of the Kingdom.
Donald G. Vasquez, DO, MPH, Trauma and Surgical Intensive Care physiciain, Wesley Medical Center
Donald G. Vasquez, DO, MPH, FACOS is a Trauma and Surgical Intensive Care physiciain at Wesley Medical Center. He works in the eCare ICU at Via Christi Health System in partnership with Dr Cowboy. He has taken these skills and is working with Hospitals of Hope on International Missions in Bolivia, South America.
Michael Wawrzewski, PA is the founder and CEO of Hospitals for Hope. Hospitals of Hope distributes medical supplies and equipment to clinics both in Wichita, Kansas and around the world. Our goal via our international medical distribution center is to support those called to serve both locally and abroad. His work was recognized by being the 2008 National Frist Humanitarian Award Winner. He received his Associates Degree in Arts at Coffeeville Community College in Kansas and his Bachelor of Science from Wichita State University Kansas.
Dale Alverson, MD, Professor of Pediatrics and UNM Regents’ Professor, University of New Mexico - Center for Telehealth and Cybermedicine Research
Dr. Alverson is a Professor of Pediatrics and UNM Regents’ Professor on faculty at the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine. Since 1995, he has been the Medical Director of the Center for Telehealth and Cybermedicine Research at the University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center. In that role, he has been involved in the planning, implementation, research and evaluation of Telemedicine systems for New Mexico, primarily serving its rural communities using information technologies, videoconferencing and the internet to provide access to clinical services and health education. His work in Ecuador in delivering critical care to patients in the Galapagos is one example of eCritical care at the point of need.
