MARCI HANDLER is a Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences Practice in the firm's Washington, DC office. Ms. Handler's practice focuses on health regulatory compliance counseling for academic medical centers, health care systems, managed care organizations and pharmaceutical and life science industry companies. Her areas of focus specifically include federal and state fraud and abuse laws, Medicare/Medicaid compliance, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D. She frequently speaks and publishes articles on "hot topics" in health regulatory compliance.

Maurice Mars, MBChB, MD., Professor and Head of TeleHealth, University of KwaZulu-Natal
Mars is Professor and Head of the Dept of TeleHealth at the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine. A medical graduate of the University of Cape Town, Mars has established postgraduate programmes in Telemedicine and Medical Informatics and initiates telemedicine services. He serves on several international and national telemedicine committees and has advised African governments on telemedicine. He was previously Professor and Chair of the Dept of Physiology at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine and served as Deputy Dean.
BRADLEY MERRILL THOMPSON is a Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences Practice at Epstein Becker and Green's Washington, DC office and he is Strategic Counsel with EBG Advisors, Inc. There he counsels medical device and drug companies on a wide range of FDA regulatory, reimbursement and clinical trial issues. For trade associations, Mr. Thompson has served as counsel to AdvaMed for payment issues, as General Counsel to the Combination Products Coalition and as Counsel and Secretary for the Indiana Medical Device Manufacturers Council.
Brian Grady, MD, Director, TeleMental Health, University of Maryland
Brian Grady, MD, joined the University of Maryland, School of Medicine in July 2007 as Director, TeleMental Health and the TMH Lead for Veterans Integrated Services Network 5, which includes Maryland, the District of Columbia and portions of West Virginia. Dr Grady established several telemental health clinics in two networks at Navy and Army facilities located in MD, PA, ME, NH, and Iceland. He developed a telemental health delivery network to Maryland’s eastern shore and telemental health disaster network at several of Maryland’s rural and suburban general hospitals and clinics while working at the Sheppard Pratt Health System from 2005-2007.
