"Jerry Cavallerano, OD, PhD is staff optometrist and Assistant-to-the Director, Beetham Eye Institute, Joslin Diabetes Center and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Harvard Medical School. He is Co-Director of the Center for Ocular Telehealth, Joslin Diabetes Center. He participates in the Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network (DRCR.net) and was a co-investigator for the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial and Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study, and Dr. Cavallerano has been active in the ATA since 1998 and past Chairman of the Ocular Telehealth Special Interest Group. Dr. Cavallerano is presently on the editorial board of Telemedicine and e-Health and Review of Optometry.

Ingrid E. Zimmer-Galler, MD, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University Medical Center
Dr. Zimmer-Galler is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute of the Johns Hopkins University Medical Center. She specializes in medical and surgical diseases of the retina. She has a long-standing interest in telemedicine activities including a telemedicine diabetic retinopathy assessment project which has imaged more than 100,000 patients with diabetes to date. She was principal investigator of an NIH diabetic retinopathy telemedicine grant and is now co-principal investigator of an NIH SBIR telemedicine grant. She has been an active member and participant in ATA and is the current Chair of the Ocular Telehealth Special Interest Group

Dr. Steven L. Mansberger is the Director of Glaucoma Services and an Associate Scientist and Director of Clinical Trials at Devers Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Oregon Health and Sciences University, also in Portland. Dr. Mansberger has been Principal Investigator in numerous research projects, including the Northwest Tribal Vision Impairment Prevention project, in which more than 400 American Indian/Alaska Natives (AI/AN) were screened for various eye diseases in a seminal effort to determine the prevalance of eye disease in Pacific Northwestern AI/AN communities.
