David is the retired Director of Telemedicine at East Carolina University. David is an innovator in telemedicine technologies, integrated systems, interoperability, human factors, and disaster response tools. David led an expert team in the development of an International Telemedicine Training Center, the Distributed Medical Intelligence Conference, Telemedicine practice innovations, and disaster response exercises. He initiated the Strong Angel project, the Distributed Medical Intelligence conference, and led a national team in biothreat readiness and response exercises at the 2003 Super Bowl. He has over 30 years experience in communications and has produced network television shows for Nickelodeon, HBO, Showtime, and PBS

Neil E. Herendeen, MD, MS, Medical Director, Health-e-Access, University of Rochester Medical Center
Dr Herendeen is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester and involved in a number of clinical projects to enhance the delivery of primary care to vulnerable children. He is medical director of the Health-e-Access telemedicine program delivering acute illness visits to schools and childcare centers over the Internet as well as continuity clinic director at Golisano Children's Hospital. He is vice chair of the ATA Pediatric Special Interest Group and co-author of multiple articles documenting the safety and efficacy of integrating telemedicine into primary care pediatric offices.
Patrick Scheid, Lt. Colonel, Central Institute of the German Army Medical Service, German Army
Dr. Patrick Scheid is head of the medical parasitology laboratory at the Central Institute of the German Army Medical Serivce at Koblenz/Germany. As a scientist within a diagnostic department of the military medical service he is interested in developing and evaluating useful tools to provide and improve medical care to the deployed military personnel with the help of “advanced medical technologies”. He is the expert and one of the inventors of the unique and successful “Telemicrobiology” system of the German Army medical service. He is member of the NATO expert panel dealing with Medical Communication and Information Systems and Telemedicine.
Ken Bleakley is CEO of FONEMED whose mission is to connect people by telephone and Internet to health information, services and products. Their systems and services helped partners win awards from the GSM Association for Best Mobile Applications for International Development, from URAC for Best Practices in Consumer Safety and from CTIA for Best Mobile Consumer Application. Ken was President of First Personal Communications and of Comunicaciones Magazine, US Coordinator for International Communications Policy and President of the American Foreign Service Association. He holds degrees from Georgtown, American University, the National Defense University and the Foreign Service Institute.
