Elizabeth A. Krupinski, PhD, Assistant Director, Program Evaluation, University of Arizona, Department of Radiology
Dr. Krupinski is a Research Professor at the University of Arizona in the Departments of Radiology and Psychology where she has been since 1992. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and PhD from Temple University, both in Experimental Psychology. She completed her early training in Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her main interests are in medical image perception, assessment of observer performance, and human factors issues. She is the Associate Director of Evaluation & Assessment for the Arizona Telemedicine Program.
Dr. J. Scott Henning is a Major in the US Army and Board Certified Dermatologist. He is a graduate of and former chief resident of the NYU Department of Dermatology and he is currently serving as the Deputy Chief of the SAMMC Dermatology and the Chief of Clinical Dermatology. He is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at USHSU. He is the author of > 30 peer review publications and abstracts dealing with a wide range of topics in dermatology to include melanoma, dermoscopy and combat dermatology. He has spoken Nationally and Internationally on the topics of dermoscopy and deployment dermatology.
Jay Brudzinski, Lead Telehealth Coordinator, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium
Jay Brudzinski is currently working as a Lead Telehealth Coordinator for the Alaska Federal Health Care Access Network, or AFHCAN. Jay retired from U.S. Coast Guard in 2007 after serving 27 years in a variety of health services fields including: primary care, laboratory, x-ray, pharmacy, occupational health & emergency medicine. He also served as Independent Duty Health Services Technician afloat and ashore, and most recently completing a 7 year assignment as the Coast Guard’s Managed Care Officer for Alaska. Jay graduated Suma Cum Lade from Eastern Michigan University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Health Administration.
April W. Armstrong, MD, Director, Teledermatology Program, University of California Davis Health System
April W. Armstrong, MD is a board-certified, academic dermatologist with expertise in teledermatology and clinical research at University of California Davis. Dr. Armstrong is the Director of Teledermatology at University of California Davis. She provides real-time, videoconference-based teledermatology consultations to 31 rural sites in California. To date, she has performed over 1200 real-time teledermatology consultations to patients in Massachusetts and California. Dr. Armstrong is the recipient of the prestigious Dermatology Foundation Career Development Award, NIH-sponsored K12 Career Development Award, as well as the K08 Career Development Award from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
