Barbara Johnston, MSN, President of Telemedicine and Health IT, Millenium Real Estate Services
Barb provides leadership and the strategic direction for the Telemedicine and Health Technology Divisions of Millennium. The mission of Millennium is to develop Smart, Green Communities including Health IT as a key component of a healthy lifestyle. Barb has extensive experience managing large and complex organizations and working collaboratively with diverse groups. Prior to joining Millennium she served as the Executive Director for the Medical Board of California. Barb has been working on health information technology programs since 1995 and has undertaken both program development and research regarding clinical outcomes and cost-effectiveness of Telemedicine. Barb was the Chief Operating Officer for a private company in Australia that developed a virtual private health network with a goal to improve access to quality health services and to decrease over all cost of health services. Barb's prior work as the Executive Director for the California Telemedicine & eHealth Center focused on expanding healthcare access for rural and underserved populations by fostering the utilization of telemedicine technologies, telecommunications resources development, and direct funding for Telemedicine/eHealth networks expansion throughout California. She served on Governor Schwarzenegger’s eHealth Forum and his Broadband Task Force Health Information Technology work group. Barb served as a Director on the Board of the American Telemedicine Association and currently continues to serve on the Board of the California Emerging Technology Fund to promote the expansion of Broadband and to improve access to education and health services for all communities statewide.

Lisa Robin is Senior Vice President, Member Services, with the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), a national non-profit association of the 70 state medical boards in the U.S. and territories, located in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Robin earned her bachelors and masters degrees from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
