Charles Parker, Executive Director, Continua Health Alliance
Chuck Parker is a healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Masspro, one of the nation’s leading performance improvement organizations dedicated to advancing healthcare quality. Chuck joined Continua as the Executive Director in December 2008. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating both short and long term objectives for Continua, as the alliance pursues the creation of its interoperable ecosystem. Chuck has been involved in all things Continua, including oversight of Continua's certification program.
Bradley Merrill Thompsonis a Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences Practice at Epstein Becker and Green's Washington, DC office and he is Strategic Counsel with EBG Advisors, Inc. There he counsels medical device and drug companies on a wide range of FDA regulatory, reimbursement and clinical trial issues. For trade associations, Mr. Thompson has served as counsel to AdvaMed for payment issues, as General Counsel to the Combination Products Coalition and as Counsel and Secretary for the Indiana Medical Device Manufacturers Council.
Jon Adams, Business Development, Wireless Connectivity Operation, Freescale Semiconductor, Inc.
Jon Adams works for Freescale Semiconductor with over 25 years experience in telecommunications systems engineering. He is marketing chair and technical vice-chair for ZigBee Health Care, and liaison to the Continua Health Alliance. Jon participates in the Arizona Telemedicine Council and the Arizona Technology Council. He is on the board of the IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization, and the Arizona Telecommunications and Information Council, a policy organization which advises the Governor’s office on matters including statewide telehealth technologies. Previously, he spent 17 years at JPL/NASA, managing the development of telecom systems intended to bring the Internet to Mars.
