This course focuses on measuring the value of telehealth nursing using recent telehealth nursing research and case studies of two existing telehealth initiatives. eICU care and chronic disease management will be discussed while addressing background, infrastructure, outcomes, and cost considerations. Participants will also have the opportunity to continue discussions in moderated breakout groups that address issues of advocacy, evaluation, and future directions for telehealth nursing. Highlights from these breakout groups will be used for further dialogue.
