Description
1. Assess the clinical outcome effects of strategies to optimize early calorie delivery in the ICU
2. Examine the role of early supplemental PN and new enteral nutrition strategies in ICU outcomes
3. Evaluate the role of glutamine provided via parenteral routes in ICU outcomes
4. Analyze the role of early administration of fish oil/ antioxidants in reducing the progression from SIRS to sepsis/septic shock
