Description
Every year, hundreds of large companies and start-ups negotiate agreements to in-license early-stage technologies from universities, hospitals and other research institutions. Licensees typically enter into these negotiations with very little data regarding comparable licenses and without sophisticated financial models regarding the products to be developed and sold.

Objectives:
  • Provide an outline of the key terms of a license agreement with a research institution.

  • Offer expert tips as to how to find the best available background information, including information regarding comparable transactions.

  • Present strategies for negotiating sensible licenses without the benefit of sophisticated financial models.

  • Streaming Audio with
    PowerPoint Slides
