Description
Often spending as much as a small biotech start-up, nonprofit disease research groups are creating innovative research collaborations, new methods of sharing data and results, and are "de-risking" the work of their for-profit partners. How can your company benefit from the investment of human and financial capital by these groups and get ahead of your competition?

Objectives:
  • Learn how to identify the most innovative nonprofit disease research organizations, those with a "business-model" approach to disease research that would make the best partners.

  • Learn about examples of existing successful partnerships between industry and nonprofits.

  • Learn about an initiative by BIO and nonprofit "action tank" FasterCures to create a clearinghouse that would facilitate the creation of effective nonprofit-industry partnerships.

  • Streaming Audio with
    PowerPoint Slides
