As chemistry-based drug discovery approaches show their limitations, companies are increasing looking to apply modern discovery techniques to traditional knowledge regarding plants and other potential drug sources. This session will look at the environment for such products, including their sourcing, manufacture, development and regulation. Panel members will include a former member of the FDA, expert in this area, a business development director of a company marketing such products and CEOs of two other companies active in the area.
