This symposium will provide an interactive opportunity to listen and contribute to new directions of the European Commission–U.S. Task Force, which has as its goal to anticipate the needs of tomorrow's life science research in the EU and the United States. Presenters will discuss and solicit the views of scientists and will cover topics such as synthetic genomics, systems biology, environmental biotechnology, plant science and plant-based bioproducts and their application to the sustainable well-being of our society.
