Years ago not-for-profit organizations benefitted from the fact that many supported their organizations out of a deep-seeded sense of obligation to the cause. That’s not so today. Simply put, if your stakeholders’ expectations aren’t met, they’ll move on.
A stakeholder is any individual or group who has an interest in what you do. Every not-for-profit organization has numerous stakeholders. Keeping their identity, wants and needs “top of mind” just makes sense.
This workshop results in the identification of the organization’s stakeholders, the expectations of those stakeholders, and an assessment of how well the Board and the organization are meeting their specific needs. The resulting information is ideal to have front and centre as the Board establishes and prioritizes strategic goals.
Allocate approximately 90-120 minutes for this workshop to allow ample time for the discussions that will unfold.
