Description
For over five thousand years, yogis have known about the benefits of yoga training and its power to lead them to more meaningful meditation. Today in the western world, yoga is known to improve strength, enhance flexibility and reduce stress. This workshop will show personal trainers how to incorporate yoga-based moves into a weight room exercise program. Each traditional exercise, such as a squat, pull, push, extension and curl will be coupled with a yoga-based movement. By focusing on body positioning, breath and mindfulness, you will move beyond sets and reps and into whole-person training. Get ready to cultivate a body-mind-flow that will strengthen your clients results both inside and out — this will be an "interactive flow" learning experience.
