How do we as career professionals reach today's college students? We all know their profileo-logged on, wired up and virtually connected. Perhaps we can enter their world, still remain in ours and teach them something in the process. This session will present the development, implementation and student reactions to 'The Applicants', a semester long on-line reality series that follows a group of liberal arts seniors on their job searches. From preparing their resumes, to shopping for professional wear to attending job fairs and interviews, following 'The Applicants' is sure to be an adventure. Students who log on gain valuable information on beginning their own job search and, when the semester ends, students can meet and network with "The Applicants'.
