As we all know from the NCAA commercials, more than 380,000 student athletes are going pro. It's just that most will be going pro in the workforce and not their sport. In fact, less than 5% will make it to the NFL. And even if they do make it, they can expect to have a career lasting less than 3 years on average. Student athletes bring tremendous backgrounds and qualities to prospective employers. However, most have no idea how to package and present themselves due to the demands of their sport. This session will outline how Baylor University has creatively begun to work with its student athletes to Provide Opportunities for Successful Transition POSTgame.
