Description
Today's students (aka the millennials), it seems, are coming out of schools looking for the sun, moon and stars. But how did they get here? Who shaped their perspective? Overworked parents, among other influences, have taught this generation that there needs to be more of a balance in life-- to enjoy work, but not to live for work. So can the millenials really have it all? Many employers are aware that Worklife integration is a primary component that students look for when searching career paths but struggle to create a culture that attracts and nurtures this desire. So how can we capitalize on their upbringing and create an environment that allows them to achieve their expectations? In this session we will help participants understand millenials characteristics and what their priorities are in life and discuss what it takes to attract millennials to our companies. Hiring top talent is competitive enough without addressing this hot button. We believe that companies who address it and live it will find success. Those that don't get on board can expect the top talent to go elsewhere!
