Description
"The regression of the United States economy has caused many companies to reassess their business practices in their desire to cut costs and achieve bottom line results. Decision makers are faced with considerable amounts of pressure to keep their company thriving by any means possible. Among one of these cost-saving techniques has been to cut or decrease college recruitment efforts. Discontinuing college recruiting programs could lead to damaging consequences for companies in the future. College recruiters are faced with the challenge to gain support from management in order to stay competitive in the fight for top students. This session will demonstrate how to achieve and preserve the support from management at a time when there is resistance. Dewberry has maintained its college recruitment program by embedding the program into the company's culture. It is no longer a business practice or function, but a philosophy and a way of staying one step ahead of competitors.
