Description
"The recession has offered a unique opportunity for businesses to build their employment brands and optimize their recruiting efforts. A strong employment brand positions you as an ""employer of choice"" by highlighting how you address the needs of prospective college hires better than your competitors. With fewer businesses recruiting these days, employers enjoy greater opportunity to increase their visibility with college graduates, giving them a competitive edge when they need to quickly attract talent later on. Thus, the efforts organizations make now to build their brands and market themselves as employers of choice will determine their success for college recruiting and retention in the future. During this session, attendees will look at survey data that will provide insight into employment branding's impact on college-age job seekers. Participants will also examine real-life examples of effective employment brands and gain a better understanding of what made each of them a success, including the important role that social media plays.
