Description
"We're on the cusp of introducing a new generation. Greed is out...generosity is in. Further, we're moving rapidly from traditional marketing techniques to digital communications. Today, high tech IS high touch. By studying consumer marketing trendsetters, it becomes clear that what we say, what we do, where we communicate, and how we communicate have all changed—dramatically. And, to remain relevant to this new generation, we have to know where they are and how to reach them in a meaningful way. This session reveals how consumer marketing giants have changed their strategy and their language to reach today's young consumer and how to apply that knowledge to college recruiting and retention. While these changes will require new thinking, they will also require a reorganization of university relations.
