Description
"From Pause to Panic! That description fits the campus recruitment practice conducted by many companies in the past during recessions and post-recession time periods. When economic recovery was slow to restore jobs or create new ones, companies opted to no longer engage universities and their career centers. Then, when the job orders started to pile up, the past recruitment momentum that was formerly gained on key college campuses was lost. Given the high average age of the work force found in many work settings today, being positioned to replenish your work force with wisely chosen, college-educated talent is an imperative for your organization's success. This panel of experts, representing both the college and employer side of our business, will discuss sure-fire strategies to keep your employer brand in front of targeted students and to offer tips to successfully recruit them. Specific examples of recruitment methods that have either failed miserably or generated great results will be discussed.
