Description
This presentation would focus on how to implement a Shared Services model for University Relations & Recruiting. Our company recently combined three very different recruiting models into one centralized process, enabling us to be more efficient and effective in our recruiting. Rather than supporting one business unit, our team supports all of North America. We will discuss how we created the new process using Six Sigma concepts, and will cover some techniques that can be used to process map and analyze the success of an existing process. Another topic of discussion will be the change management steps we took to gain buy-in from management and business leaders, and the strategy behind our communication of the new process. With the results of our implementation, we can share the success of the rollout and look at feedback from the managers and candidates. The last topic we will cover will be best practices and mistakes to avoid while going through this type of change. Each presenter had significant involvement in creating the new process, and has a unique background in one of the three processes we harmonized.
