Angela Grant Saunders is the Director of Beauty & Flavour at Saunders Farm in Munster, Ontario. Before meeting her husband Mark, Angela was a music teacher who had traveled for three years with the acclaimed international youth program “Up With People”. Recently, Angela has cultivated a love affair with food, nurtured by her mother's delicious home-cooking. She believes passionately in growing and preparing good "food", as opposed to "edible foodlike substances". Angela now oversees food services at the Farm. Angela's love of good, local and fresh food is highly contagious. Her enthusiasm shows when she talks about food, and combines that with creating memorable weddings on her farm.
Angela keeps a hand in staffing, strategic planning, gift shop, training, retreats and design at Saunders Farm. In 1995 she created her alter-ego, the Green Queen, and has been making people laugh ever since in the live shows at Saunders Farm. Angela also serves on the NAFDMA Board of Directors.

Description
Saunders Farm has been hosting weddings for the past 16 years. That happened upon offering weddings by chance - an employee asked if they could get married at the farm. The Farm hosted 12 weddings this past season and already have bookings for 16 for the summer of 2012. Angela Grant Saunders will share the ins and outs, ups and downs of offering full service weddings at your farm: creating relationships with vendors, working with brides (and the dreaded MOTB - Mother of the Bride!), marketing your weddings, setting prices and policies, creating menus, finding and training amazing banquet staff.
