Description
The implementation of any innovation requires sustained commitment to the idea that change takes time. This session focuses on the journey of two middle schools that have used the Parallel Curriculum Model to guide their curricular planning and instructional decisions. Teachers share PCM-designed units in various disciplines, demonstrate electronic planning tools that have been effective in refining their personal understanding of PCM, and discuss the impact this process has on its teachers and the building as a whole.
