Description
Following almost every meeting (faculty, PTA, administrators) that deals with gifted education, the REAL conversations take place in the parking lot! This provocative session examines the 10 most commonly voiced parking lot concerns and explores the theory-to-practice gaps that bedevil the field and our schools. Beyond complaining to each other, what can we do to look these educational "sacred cows" straight in the eye, scrutinize them, and use best practice evidence to move the field forward? Can we make a difference in schools and the lives of gifted children? YES, WE CAN!
