Description
This session introduces participants to a new Personal Success Plan, based on the Schoolwide Enrichment Model, designed to engage upper elementary and middle school students and improve achievement. It was also designed to reverse underachievement by having students identify their interests, their personal heroes and helpers, and to contemplate careers and future education based on these. The PSP asks students to identify future goals, plans, and projects that engage and excite them. The PSP is available in paper and electronic formats. Participants learn about research that examines how underachievement is reversed using this tool.
