Description
Integrating the arts into the curriculum can help students to be more engaged and successful. Research
has shown that the arts enhance cognitive, emotional, attentional, and immune neurobiological systems. Using research from Eric Jensen's books on the brain and the arts, data and lesson ideas that range from very simple implementation to complex options are offered. As the arts infusion coordinator for 3 schools in the past 10 years, I have seen positive results in ESL, twice exceptional, and GT learners.
