Description
Designing curriculum for advanced level students is a difficult task. This session will focus on viewing examples of curricular units that have been designed using the Parallel Curriculum Model. Participants will view video excerpts of teachers who are using PCM to redesign their instructional units based on the principles of PCM. This session will also provide an overview of PCM, snapshots of unit examples, strategies for adapting curriculum to reflect the intent of PCM, and lessons we have learned as teachers begin to redesign curriculum based on this model.
