It is never too early to engage children in science, math, engineering, and technology! Three-year olds building houses of blocks are engineers at work! The purpose of this presentation is to share ways in which teachers use the Project Approach to facilitate investigations that introduce children to the STEM disciplines: science, technology, engineering, and math. Specifically, presenters will share projects where children delve into recycling, conservation, building, inventions, and habitats. Documentation of student work will show the students inquiry processhow they hypothesize, collect and analyze data, and how they publish their results.
