Description
The heightened sensitivities of gifted learners make them more aware of the world and especially sensitive to injustices, political and economic problems, and environmental issues. How can we help direct their energies (and frustrations) into paths in which they can make a difference? The growing genre of picture books provides a rich resource to guide gifted learners in discovering our world, investigating avenues for problem solving, and learning about Great Minds who have made a difference. In short, through picture books we can help our gifted learners become Great Minds Leading the Way. A Book List will be provided.
