Description
This presentation will focus on the social/emotional and behavioral learning of our primary advanced and gifted students through the use of quality children's literature and picture books. An emphasis will be placed on the affective domain and social emotional learning. Teacher friendly developmental bibliotheraphy lessons will be shared in our lively book discussions. As we explore childrens books we will learn from character centered scenarios created by quality children's literature authors. A bibliography of books will be presented that support the social and emotional well being of our advanced and gifted primary school learners.
