Description
Professional development is greatly enhanced when participants become a community of learners who actively engage with the training content. This session focuses on techniques and strategies that specifically help professional development facilitators in gifted education build community among participants or students as well as promote their engagement in the learning process. University professors and district staff developers benefit from the methodologies and activities presented during the session. Exemplary strategies and activities are demonstrated and distributed to the session attendees.
