Description
Think about a student that you know or suspect may be gifted. What keeps him or her engaged in learning? Where do you see the highest potential for involvement? This session explores eight essentials for engagement of gifted learners, and defines and discusses the optimal conditions for motivation, through the lens of 21st century skills. This K-12 session delves into topics of data-driven instruction, affective guidance, integration of media and technology, as well as other essentials to foster the excitement that learning can bring.
