Description
When Synergy Professional Development Elementary School, opened in the fall of 2009, serving the largest percentage of Latino students and students eligible for free and reduced lunch in the district, the expectations for results were high. Among some of the instructional considerations implemented was the Schoolwide Enrichment Model. This presentation is a discussion of findings from an external evaluation conducted during the school's first year. These evaluation results contribute to the existing body of research on SEM, and are further useful to other schools interested in implementing this model.
