Description
This session introduces attendees to the lives of eight, current, early-entrance college students, as illustrated by their own words and experiences. What motivated these students to leave high school behind and move on to college when they were only 14-16 years old? How have they coped with the increased academic pressure, and how have their social lives been affected? Most importantly, are they happy with their decisions, and would they advise other highly gifted students to consider doing the same? Attendees also receive information regarding early entrance programs nationwide that may be helpful in advising their own students.
