Description
Teachers and parents of gifted children naturally focus a great deal on English/language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science instruction. The arts--visual art, music, dance, and theatre can be used to augment and enrich all of these areas. This session focuses on practical and easy ways to incorporate the arts into every content area. A variety of free resources, including lesson plans, online resources, and instructional strategies such as Visual Thinking Strategies, Auditory Thinking Strategies, and access to a community of like-minded collaborators are shared.
