Description
Engaging with the arts is a vital part of gifted children’s education. Funding issues have left many teachers and parents struggling to provide gifted children with arts education despite little outside support. Fortunately, a wealth of free and accessible resources exists that allow any teacher or parent to enrich gifted children with the arts through collaboration with arts organizations. This session focuses on educational materials developed by the Lyric Opera of Chicago that allow teachers and parents to work with gifted children to explore great musical works.
