Description
Little research has been conducted about the paths followed by gifted students with learning disabilities who have succeeded in academic settings. This session addresses problems and successes of students with gifts and learning disabilities, focusing on the compensation strategies needed to enable these students to succeed in school and life. Attention is focused on the special needs of these students as well as the specific compensation strategies necessary to succeed in challenging academic environments.
