Description
The National Board Certification process is a rigorous but doable professional development choice for K-12 educators. The path to certification involves evidence of accomplished teaching in one of 25 teaching areas and can take up to three years to complete. Although the areas of certification apply to 95 percent of teachers, the path to National Board Certification for gifted educators is not obvious. Luckily, experts in gifted education have blazed a brilliant trail for others to follow. For teachers who work with gifted populations and are interested in successfully completing the National Board process, this session provides clear and comprehensive guidance.
