Description
From axioms to best practices, the writings of Virgil Ward include foundational principles for differentiating instruction. As an early leader of considerations about differentiation, Ward's work covered over three decades of examination of who are the gifted, who should teach gifted children, what curriculum might look like, and how curriculum might be delivered. This session examines his writings and proposes a case for continued use of his constructs about differentiated education for gifted learners.
