Description
Differentiating curriculum in middle level classrooms can be done using the work of popular children’s book author, Graeme Base. This interdisciplinary, differentiated unit based on Base’s books makes the lessons meaningful to students, meets their needs and interests, and the lessons become more than just learning facts. Drawn in by interest in the books, students are challenged by activities that are far from routine and boring. Participants leave the session with activities from several books written by Base.
